Choosing Appropriate Weight REPS EXERCISE:

Most of the people while working out have this misconception that "high reps low weight will shred their muscles" and "heavy lifting and lesser reps will give them mass".
This is right to some extent but people are more attracted to heavier weights and they try to pick up heavier weights on their very first day which could lead to serious injuries.
For beginners start with light weight and gradually increase weight with the passage of time. There is no shortcut to success you have to work hard to achieve it. 
Also with light weight lifting  do more reps to increase your stamina once your stamina is build you can move to heavy weights.
another question that is asked that which weight is heavy or which weight is light?
the weight which you can lift 20 to 30 time easily is light for you heavy one is that which you can hardly lift 3 to 4 or maximum 6 times.
So be careful while choosing your weights and please follow a proper plan while working out.
